Yay for October! Yay for Book Fair!

It’s that time of year again to celebrate reading and books with the Scholastic Book Fair! The book fair will run Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 23. Our book fair is CASHLESS. That means you can use any type of card or tap if you come to shop as an adult or you can create an eWallet at Scholastic.com “find my fair” Fair Finder | Book Fair Near Me | Scholastic Book Fairs for your student to use during the day if you can’t make it. There are sometimes two Edison Elementary Schools on Scholastic.com so make sure it’s the one in Tacoma. If your student has an eWallet to shop during school hours, the librarian Ms. C will call students down to help them shop.

Fair Hours:

• Monday: 3:30-4:00pm
• Tuesday: 12:15-4:30pm
• Wednesday: 7:30-9:45am, 3:30-4:30pm
• Thursday: 12:15-6:30pm
• Friday: Last Chance 8:00-8:45 am

Want to volunteer? We’d LOVE that! Contact Jennifer Cervantes (Librarian) at jcervan@tacoma.k12.wa.us or let the office know.

To all Edison families, please complete this form...📝💻

Child Nutrition Eligibility and Education Benefit (CNEEB) Application

When families complete the CNEEB application, it helps fund things like before- and after-school programs, school counselors, health and wellness services, and classroom resources. It also ensures that students who are eligible for low-income benefits and discounts are recognized and can take advantage of additional benefits, including things like fee waivers for ASB cards.
